Following negotiation with the DOJ, iComTech founder David Carmona has been ordered to pay $789,218 in restitution. A separate order has also set iComTech forfeiture at $3.7 million.
On January 28th the Southern District of New York court ordered Carmona pay $789,218.94 in restitution to iComTech victims.
With respect to restitution, Carmona is being held jointly liable with co-conspirators Marco Ochoa, Moses Valdez, Juan Arellano, David Brend and Gustavo Rodriguez.
Separate proposed restitution orders for David Brend and Gustavo Rodriguez were filed on January 29th. The court has given Brend and Rodriguez till February 10th to file a response, after which an determination order will be issued.
