Generation Zoe Ponzi founder Leonardo Cositorto has been found guilty of fraud and criminal association.
Cositorto’s verdict was handed down approximately an hour or so ago in court.
Upon hearing the verdict, Cositorto rose to his feet, pointed to the judge and started shouting.
After a few seconds Cositorto (right) was promptly ejected from the court, wherein proceedings continued.
The decision was made by judges Ricardo Carbajal, Jorge Carbone and Julio Duarte, who considered that the main defendant in the case was the leader of the organization and co-author of repeated frauds.
Along with him, Miguel Angel Echegaray, Maximiliano Javier Batista and Lucas Damian Camelino were also found guilty.
Meanwhile, brothers Nicolas Ismael Medina and Javier Sebastian Medina were acquitted.
Cositorto is facing five to ten years in prison. Sentencing is expected to be handed down within the next hour.
